Blériot XI
- one of the first French aircraft built by Louis Blériot and Raymond Saulnier in 1909. The machine was cons tructed in oak and poplar in the configuration Monoplane with win gs covered with canvas. Initially the drive was a different engin e designs of the French aviation pioneer Robert Esnault structure-Pelterie driving czterołopatowe metal propeller, which, however, was abandoned in favor of the 3-cylinder engine with a power Anzani 25 hp, which, despite its simple structure characterized by improved parameters. An additional incentive for the Bleriot was the fact that the engine was capable of continuing work by the hour.
